Description

Hand-knotted from 100% New Zealand wool, the soft white hue and abstract black design make the Benjy rugs a contemporary addition to your bedroom or sitting room. Small (VCS1002): L200 x W140cm. Medium (VCS1003): L170 x W240cm. Made of 100% New Zealand wool. Due to the hand-knotted nature of these rugs, the exact colour and size may vary. We recommend vacuuming regularly and professionally dry clean. Exclusive to G&G.

Our Stylist Says

I love this Benjy rug for its versatile, contemporary design that works well in both modern and bohemian interiors. Its soft, neutral palette makes it easy to layer with colour and patterns, while the hand-knotted texture adds a touch of craftsmanship and authenticity. It’s perfect under a dining table or in a living space where durability and comfort are key. Practical styling tips include pairing it with light wood or mid-tone furniture to make the pattern stand out, and keeping accessories minimal to let the rug be the focal point. This piece is a smart choice for creating a cosy, understated statement without overwhelming the space.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
