Description
A real eye-catcher, the Ribb bench from Tectake brings understated elegance to any room. Its simple yet inviting slatted design effortlessly adapts to various interior styles and is the perfect addition anywhere, whether in the hallway, dining room, or bedroom. Impressive weight capacity. What makes this bench special is its outstanding load-bearing capacity. For one thing, it’s made of durable, lacquered bamboo that combines stability with aesthetic appeal. For another, it features sturdy corner braces that distribute the load evenly. This combination of material and construction results in exceptional sturdiness that you can feel the moment you sit down. In addition, the corners of the seat are rounded, providing extra safety. Versatile, Thanks to its flat surface, this piece of furniture is not only suitable as seating for up to three people but also works perfectly as a storage surface. You can place it next to the sofa and set plants on it or put down a cup of coffee. The bench also works just as well in the hallway as a place to set down bags or backpacks. Thanks to its light weight, you can also carry this compact piece of furniture from one room to the next in seconds, allowing you to use it flexibly wherever you need it. Easy to Move. The bench comes with four soft felt glides to stick on, which reliably protect hardwood, laminate, and other floors from scratches when moving it. Cleaning is a breeze: a damp cloth is all it takes to keep the surface clean. Assembly is also quick and easy, so the Ribb bench from Tectake is ready to use in just a few minutes and will immediately add a charming touch to your home.
Our Stylist Says
This bench is a versatile addition that works well in both contemporary and minimalist interiors. I love its clean lines and the contrasting black and white colour scheme, which allows it to slot seamlessly into hallways, living rooms, or even as a stylish entryway piece. Practical styling tips include pairing it with cushions or throws for added comfort and visual interest, or using it alongside a mirror or artwork to create a functional yet sophisticated vignette. Its simple, geometric design also makes it ideal for layering in more eclectic spaces or grounding a neutral colour palette. Overall, a practical, stylish piece that offers both seating and aesthetic appeal.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
