Description

A statement piece for any modern dining room, the Bellamy Velvet Dining Chair is upholstered in sustainable velvet in a moss green hue from top to toe for that desirable minimaluxe look. In a cool yet comfortable shape, this sculptural chair with a tubular silhouette takes the flowing curves and lines of contemporary furniture design to inject high-end style into your home. Especially designed by Ebbe Gehl for Cult, the U-Shaped back with cutouts makes for a spacious seat, that is also padded for comfort. For a rich depth of colour and unique softness, the velvet used in this product is not only of the highest quality but is made from 100% recycled PET yarns so it is kinder to the environment too.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this moss-green velvet dining chair for its blend of sculptural form and eco-friendly mohair fabric - it feels both durable and tactile without overwhelming a space. Its rounded back and open-frame sides suit contemporary, mid-century or even Scandi-inspired rooms, pairing especially well with light timber tables or matte black metal legs for contrast. For styling, use it as an occasional desk chair in a home study or around a simple round table in a city apartment. Accent with brass-tone lighting or a low-pile jute rug to balance the plush velvet, and keep surrounding décor in muted neutrals so the green upholstery remains the focal point.

About Cult Furniture

Founded in 2010, Cult Furniture's goal was to make designer future accessible to all. They offer an exciting collection of modern, stylish furniture and lighting, and with their focus on trend-led designs, Cult Furniture allows you to make a contemporary, fashion-forward statement in your space.

Origins and Evolution

Back in 2010, Cult's founder was on a mission a spruce-up for his award-winning cocktail bar, Lost Society.

However, he was met with limited furniture options that struck the right balance between trendiness and affordability. That "Aha!" moment came when he realised there's a gap in the UK for designer-look furniture without the hefty price tag.

Since then, Cult has grown significantly, with a team of over 100 professionals, the brand has positioned itself as the ultimate destination for home decor enthusiasts.

Not to mention, their expansive London showroom that promises visitors an immersive experience, made up of themed zones that reflect a distinct style or function.

They also have a mega 140,000 square foot warehouse in Essex, filled to the brim with items awaiting their new homes.

More than Just Furniture

Whilst Cult Furniture's focus is of course about bringing snazzy furniture to our homes, it's the whole experience that really gets people talking. They're not just selling furniture; they're sharing their passion for design.

Not only do they promise some of the market's most competitive prices, but they also excel in speed - offering next-day delivery for all in-stock items.

Planet-friendly, Heart-driven

Sustainability is at the forefront of Cult's operations. Their green efforts aren't just limited to sustainable materials, but also extend to every touchpoint - right from sourcing to packaging.

They prioritise durable and eco-friendly materials like mango wood, oak, beech, and ash - all of which stand the test of time, both in homes and against environmental degradation.

Packaging is another area they shine in, striking a balance between minimising waste and ensuring product protection. After all, a sustainable future is one where both the planet and people thrive.
