Our Stylist Says
This chic lamp is perfect for adding a touch of modern elegance to contemporary or minimalist interiors. Its sleek, chrome finish and sculptural design make it a statement piece that works well on side tables, console units, or even desks. I love how versatile it is - pairing it with neutral tones creates a sophisticated look, while combining it with colourful or patterned surroundings can add a touch of glamour. Practical styling tips include using a warm-toned bulb to soften the reflective chrome or layering it with other metallic accents for a cohesive look. Its sculptural form also lends itself well to display environments, like in living rooms or bedroom nightstands, where it can double as a decorative object.

About BHS.com
Historical Roots
British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.
Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.
Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!
Expansion and Evolution
BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.
They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
