I like using the Quinby stool for its clean lines and subtle texture - the perforated seat adds just enough interest without overwhelming a space. At 75 cm high it’s ideal for most kitchen islands or bar-height counters, especially in schemes that lean towards Scandi minimalism, contemporary urban lofts or understated industrial rooms. To style it, tuck it neatly under a pale oak or concrete-topped island, then introduce soft textiles elsewhere - a wool rug or linen curtains - to balance the metal legs. Its neutral beige tone also pairs well with both cool greys and warmer woods, making it easy to layer into existing colour palettes.
