I often reach for this teak bench when I need a piece that’s both robust and unfussy - the solid timber frame and woven seat age beautifully and stand up to daily use. Its straightforward lines and natural finish suit modern Scandi schemes, coastal retreats or a pared-back country kitchen.
Styling-wise, slot it in an entrance hall with a couple of low baskets tucked underneath for shoes and gloves, or pair it with a slim cushion and a chunky throw at the foot of the bed. In a dining space it works equally well as informal seating; keep the look light by choosing linen-covered pads or leaving it bare to show off the grain.
