Description
The Gamfratesi studio consists of Danish designer Stine Gam and Italian designer Enrico Fratesi. Their work combines different influences, from classic Italian design to Scandinavian traditions. The Beetle chair is inspired by the shape of the scarab. The seat and back are made from two padded shells with curved lines that look like the insect's shell. The slim, tapered steel legs make reference to a beetle's legs. All these elements are perfectly connected and crafted in a fluid manner. The outline of the chair is enhanced by piping that highlights the seat and backrest. Super-comfortable, Beetle is at home in different environments: around a dinner table, behind a desk, at home or work.
