Description
Created by Italian designers Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, Beep rests on the wall with all the lightness of a butterfly. Beep dialogues with its environment to give life to asymmetrical, unique light decors. Its strength lies in its great luminous and visual comfort, with enveloping but never dazzling lighting. Orientable thanks to its 360° swivel base, the light beam is reflected on the wall and ceiling. The 360° swivel base lets you orient the direction and amount of light as desired. The semi-sphere in translucent opaline white PMMA is covered with a diffuser disc in opaque anthracite ABS. The lamp’s spherical body appears dematerialised by the light, and the diffuser disc seems suspended in the air. The light emanating from the body diffuses by reflection on the wall. The opaque diffuser disc masks the light except for a small decorative opening in an offset position which creates a point of light. This small opening creates an effect of dynamism and depth. Ludovica and Roberto Palomba explain: "A lamp capable of establishing a dialogue with its environment. Beep is not just an object that illuminates, but which combines wall, ceiling and floor to create asymmetrical, unique decoration. ".
