Description
Serve a sumptuous helping of Mid-Century Scandinavian craftsmanship to any dining table with this Wooden Wishbone Dining Chair from Nicholas Winter. With its chic Scandinavian-inspired silhouette, this chair stands as an undisputed style icon that elegantly brings together two of the most prevailing trends in interior and furniture design. The sturdy FSC-certified natural beech wood frame has been steam-bent for a smooth finish, while the distinctive 'Y' provides long-lasting comfort by promoting proper posture. A woven rope seat lends every chair an air of rustic charm and character, perfect for bringing a little extra warmth to dining rooms, restaurants, offices and reception areas alike.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this Scandi beech dining chair for its clean lines and warm timber tone - it instantly brightens a room without feeling fussy. It sits naturally in Scandinavian-inspired kitchens and works just as well in a Japandi or minimalist setting, thanks to its simple curves and neutral seat. Pair it with a light oak or marble-topped table and layer in soft textiles such as a jute runner or muted cushion to soften the look. For a relaxed, collected feel, mix in one or two chairs in a darker wood or subtle fabric, then finish with a statement pendant light and a few potted plants.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
