The Bedford standard-size Tub Chair is soft and comfortable and finished in a wide variety of colours to match most, if not all living space colour schemes. An ideal additional seating option for your living room, conservatory or study. It has superior quality cushioning that feels better the moment you sit down. The fabric is soft but long-lasting. The timber frame is strong and robust, the feet are also solid wood turned and lacquered, the upholstery is soft and has luxury layers of foam cushioning. Never compromise on comfort. We don't. That's why we use the very best padding in our upholstery. It has sloping sides in a semi-circle shape, so they gently support both your sides and your back.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
