I’m a fan of this black double bed frame for its clean lines and low-profile silhouette - it instantly anchors a room without feeling bulky. Its faux-leather upholstery works equally well in a contemporary or minimalist scheme, and it’s robust enough for a more industrial look if you add metal side tables or exposed-brick wall décor. For styling, keep bedding simple - crisp white sheets and a couple of textured cushions in grey or muted tones; a soft throw at the foot adds comfort. Pair with slimline bedside lamps and a neutral rug to define the space, then introduce one or two green plants to soften the overall effect.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
