I’m a big fan of this black metal bed frame with its high head and footboards because it instantly gives a room structure without feeling too heavy. The simple lines work equally well in industrial or Scandi-inspired schemes, and the matte black finish provides a neutral backdrop for both bold jewel tones and soft pastels. To style it, start with crisp white or linen bedding for contrast, then layer in textured throws and cushions in mustard or deep teal to add warmth. Flank the bed with minimalist bedside tables and matching black-frame lamps or pendants to echo the metalwork, and place a low-pile rug underneath to anchor the space and create a cosy feel underfoot.
