Description
The metal bed frame 'Kyoto' by Tectake adds a modern touch to your bedroom. With its clean lines and subtle style it can be combined with the mattress and headboard of your choice to customise your bedroom. The metal bed frame has a platform design, which creates storage space under the lying surface. You can neatly store bed linen, pillows or seasonal clothing in under-bed drawers or boxes, it's easier to clean and perfect for a student, child or rental. It also comes with high-quality poplar wood slats which are perfect for firm or soft mattresses. The wooden slats fit seamlessly into the solid frame and, together with the separate headboard, provide a firm base for your mattress. Thanks to its robust metal frame with durable powder coating, the bed is not only robust but also easy to care for. The floor-friendly plastic feet both ensure stability and protect your floor from scratches. Compared with the frames of other beds, or an ottoman, assembly is exceptionally easy, so you can easily enjoy your new resting place. Available in king, double, single, large and small sizes the metal frame bed Kyoto by tectake means nothing stands in the way of your restful sleep.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of the Kyoto bed for its clean, minimalist lines and sturdy steel build - the flexible slats give just enough bounce without the need for a separate sprung base. At 46.5 cm high there’s ample space underneath for low-profile storage boxes, which is a real bonus in a smaller room. This frame works equally well in a Scandi-inspired scheme with light woods and soft linens or in an industrial loft setting paired with Edison bulbs and concrete accents. For styling, keep bedding neutral and layer in textured throws and cushions; use matching black or woven baskets underneath to keep things tidy yet accessible.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
