Description
<!--td --> This contemporary piece of art is Bauhaus by name, Bauhaus by nature. The German art movement that was so popular in the 1920s and ‘30s was characterised by its abstract shapes and geometric form, weaving an industrial look and feel through its body of work. This piece is classic Bauhaus (as indeed, the statement suggests), and should further proof be needed, it displays the names of three of the movement’s most prominent figures (Walter Gropius was the founder of the German design school, while Herbert Beyer and Henner Meyer were two of its most influential advocates). The bold typography is striking in yellow and red, which merge to create a Venn diagram of deeply contrasting black, while the negative space works perfectly to showcase the names the three founding fathers perfectly. It’s a beauty of a piece, destined to become a talking point in your home. Never be stuck for conversation again! - Bauhaus Art Print - Unframed - Measures: H70cm x W50cm - Material: Digitally printed on 250gsm luxurious museum-quality paper- Please note this piece is unframed
Our Stylist Says
This Bauhaus art print is a great way to inject a touch of modernist charm into a room, especially in spaces that celebrate minimalism or mid-century design. I love how its bold colours and graphic style can serve as a statement piece, whether hung alone or as part of a gallery wall. It works particularly well in contemporary interiors with clean lines, neutral palettes, or even in vintage-inspired settings that embrace the Bauhaus ethos. For practical styling, consider pairing it with simple, understated frames to keep the focus on the artwork, and place it above a sleek sideboard or console. Since it’s unframed, it’s versatile enough to be mounted with a thin border or simply pinned for a more relaxed, effortless look.

About Rockett St George
Rockett St George's Inspiring Start
Back in 2007, on a not-so-sunny Lanzarote vacation, Lucy and Jane had a bright idea by the pool. Both loved old markets and changing up their homes, so they thought, "Why not create an online store for unique home items?"
With Jane's skills in PR and photos and Lucy knowing all about selling, they started Rockett St George. They purchased a 'Website for Dummies' book, pooled their savings, and voilà - Rockett St George was launched!
What began as a twinkle in their eyes has today blossomed into a renowned brand, steered by over 50 passionate team members, 5 warehouses, 2,500 eclectic products, an award-winning blog, and two celebrated interior design books.
Defining Home - The Rockett St George Way
Home is where the heart is, and for Rockett St George, it's about creating personal sanctuaries. Their ethos is grounded in curating spaces that aren't just houses, but homes brimming with personality. Be it glamorous, eclectic, witty, or rock 'n' roll-inspired pieces, their treasure hunts across the globe ensure that every item they offer is singular and inspiring.
But beyond their unique products, the brand goes the extra mile to engage with their community. From a dynamic blog to exclusive events, their quest is to inspire fearlessness in interior design.
Sustainability - A Core Endeavour
At the heart of Rockett St George lies a resolute commitment to sustainability. They don't just sell products; they are on a mission - one that involves sourcing of eco-friendly items and continually revamping operational practices to minimise environmental footprints.
