Designed by Gam Fratesi for GUBI, the Bat Outdoor Chair epitomises the perfect balance between functional minimalism and refined elegance. Crafted from injection-moulded polypropylene, the understated form presents clean lines and ergonomic simplicity. Freshly reimagined for outdoor use, this iteration has been specially treated for durability, helping to withstand weather and UV damage. Founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi, the award-winning Copenhagen-based design house takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal, drawing on both designers' experiences of Danish and Italian craft traditions. Renowned for applying an experimental approach to every project they take on, Gam and Fratesi aim to understand and expand on traditional techniques, lending each design they create both a visible historical context and unique, fresh aesthetic.
