Our Stylist Says
I really like the base valance cover because of its easy-care polycotton fabric, which makes it practical for everyday use without sacrificing style. The soft peach shade adds a gentle touch of colour that works well in both modern and classic interiors, especially in neutral or pastel-themed bedrooms. It’s great for creating a polished look while hiding the divan base, and you can pair it with crisp bedding for a fresh feel or layered with textured throws for a cosy vibe. For styling tips, keep the rest of the bed linens simple and monochromatic to allow the peach to stand out, or add some patterned cushions to introduce visual interest. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that helps achieve a tidy, put-together bedroom effortlessly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
