Our Stylist Says
I really like the black bed base cover for its sleek, modern look and its practical design. The polycotton fabric makes it easy to care for and ensures durability, which is ideal for everyday use. It works particularly well in contemporary and minimalist interiors where clean lines and neutral tones are key, but it can also add a touch of sophistication to more eclectic spaces. For styling, consider pairing it with crisp white or patterned bedding to create a striking contrast, or layer in textured cushions and throws for added comfort and visual interest. Its simplicity makes it versatile enough to adapt to different colour schemes, making it a reliable choice for a neat, polished bedroom aesthetic.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
