Description

Spotlights can help you to bring a more direct and practical style of lighting into your home, with their focused beam shining towards the space where the illumination will be most effective. This satin nickel piece can be mounted on the ceiling or wall, giving a style of light that is tailored to the specific requirements of the room. Ideal for the kitchen or living room, this spotlight gives fantastic accent light to any interior.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its sleek, modern look and satin nickel finish, which adds a subtle shine that works well with contemporary and minimalist interiors. It’s versatile enough to be used in various spaces such as hallways, kitchens, or living rooms, providing focused lighting without overpowering the room’s design. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other satin nickel fixtures for a cohesive look or using it as an accent light alongside softer wall shades. Its adjustable head makes it functional for task lighting, perfect for highlighting artwork or creating ambient glow in more relaxed settings.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
