Description

Let Barbie comfort and 'hug' your little one to sleep with this official Barbie weighted blanket. Weighted blankets have been shown to stimulate deep touch pressure just in the same way as when we receive a comforting hug. Whether sleeping or napping, relaxing or reading, cosying or cuddling, this weighted blanket will help restore a sense of stillness and calm both day and night. It can help little ones fall asleep and provide a more restful and better sleep quality. This blanket has a 100% cotton top layer and a luxurious plush reverse for extra cosiness. The individually stitched pockets are filled with micro glass beads for weight without bulk. It comes in packaging designed to be used time and time again, perfect for storage and travel. Our Stylist Says

This pink Barbie weighted blanket adds a playful yet functional touch to any bedroom decor, especially in spaces with a colour palette that leans towards soft pastels, neutrals, or playful accents. Its vibrant hue makes it perfect for modern, eclectic, or teen bedrooms, bringing a fun pop of colour without overpowering the overall look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with understated bedding to allow the blanket to stand out, or layering it over a neutral duvet for an easy pop of colour. It works well in relaxed, casual schemes and can add a cosy, inviting feel. To keep the visual cohesive, consider matching it with blush or pastel accessories, or complementing it with other playful decor items to enhance its youthful charm.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
