Description

I’m a fan of these brown microfibre bar stools because their warm tone and soft texture bring a cosy yet modern feel to a kitchen island or a home bar. The slim black base and footrest suit both industrial-style and contemporary spaces, while the gas-lift mechanism means everyone - from children to tall guests - can sit comfortably. To style them, layer in a patterned rug beneath the bar area for contrast, add a few potted succulents on the counter and keep metal accents matte black or brushed brass to tie the look together.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
