Description

The Bamboo Dome Shade in White is the perfect modern addition to your interior lighting arrangements, with a scandi design that provides a bright look in any room that goes well among any modern décor. The dome shade projects a warm glow down into the room, practically lighting your home with a bright illumination that is perfect for task lighting in your home. This makes it the perfect lighting addition to add above any kitchen island or breakfast bar.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant because it combines natural materials with a sleek, modern silhouette, making it versatile for a range of interiors. The bamboo dome offers a soft, diffuse light that works especially well in coastal, Scandinavian, or boho-inspired spaces. For styling, consider pairing it with light wood or neutral-toned furniture to enhance its organic feel, or hang it above a kitchen island or breakfast nook to create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Practical tips include ensuring the height is adjustable to get the perfect balance between functional lighting and visual impact, and pairing it with warm LED bulbs to highlight the beauty of the bamboo. It’s a great way to introduce texture and warmth into contemporary or minimalist schemes without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
