Description

Bamboo Dome Easyfit Shade, Grey

Our Stylist Says

I really like this shade because it combines natural texture with a modern aesthetic. The grey hue makes it versatile and easy to incorporate into contemporary, Scandinavian, or even industrial interiors. It works especially well when paired with wooden or neutral-toned furniture, adding a subtle warmth without overwhelming the space. For styling tips, consider using these shades in living rooms or bedrooms where you want a calming, understated look. Hanging them with minimalist fixtures or in clusters can create a focal point, while their neutral colour ensures they won’t clash with your colour scheme. Overall, the bamboo dome makes a practical yet stylish addition to any modern interior.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
