Description

Setting a more refined tone with your decor, the Bamboo Bobbin Herringbone Cable Ceiling Pendant Light in Grey combines its softly curved shade with natural bamboo material and a beautifully woven herringbone cable for an elevated, textural look. The adjustable drop lets you tailor the height to kitchens, dining tables, or stairwells, while the complementary colour palette creates a balanced blend of modern design and organic warmth. With its distinctive bobbin detail and stylish grey finish, this pendant light becomes a standout feature that transforms everyday spaces with an understated, contemporary edge.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this bamboo bobbin light for its simple, natural aesthetic. Its grey tone ensures it pairs well with a range of colour palettes, especially neutral or earthy interiors. It works particularly well in casual or coastal-inspired spaces, adding a touch of texture without overwhelming the existing decor. Practical styling tips include hanging it over a kitchen island or dining table to create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. For a cohesive look, pair it with furniture made from rattan or wood, and consider using warm white bulbs to enhance its soft, ambient glow. It’s a versatile choice that can elevate both contemporary and rustic interiors.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
