Description

The Bamboo Bobbin Shade in Matt Pink is the perfect lighting accessory for your home’s lighting arrangements, with a beautiful, geometric design to add a point of interest in your room. Finished in Pink Matt, the shade provides any space with a bright pop of colour and a blush tone that works well in any modern room as a softer, sweeter accent. Encompassed within, the light escapes through the vertical line design to project a stunning warm glow into your room, perfect for mood lighting in any living room or bedroom.

Our Stylist Says

I love the bamboo bobbin shade for its relaxed, Scandinavian-inspired vibe that adds warmth and texture to any room. The matte pink finish makes it particularly appealing for soft, feminine interiors or spaces with a muted colour palette. It works well in kitchens, living rooms, or bedrooms where a touch of natural material can soften modern or minimalistic decor. For styling tips, consider pairing it with woven accessories or layered textiles to enhance its organic feel. Hanging it in a grouping or as a statement piece can add visual interest without overwhelming the space, making it a versatile addition for both contemporary and boho interiors.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
