Description
The Balloon pendant consists of translucent elastic fabric stretched over a thin metal frame giving rise to an evanescent volume. Through transparency, the frame forms delicate vertical geometric patterns. The Balloon pendant dresses the space with its pure, ethereal, original presence. The translucent material filters the light for warm, comfortable, soothing lighting. German designer Meike Harde explains: "My design objects are characterised by their delicate structures, a certain transparency and subtle details with clean shapes. My design objects tend towards an aesthetic synergy of material and form. I’m convinced that a decorative element must go hand in hand with utility. For me, function and aesthetics form a coherent whole. ''.
