Handmade in Indonesia, it stands 2 metres tall with a 1.5-metre cotton canopy supported by a sturdy Dorran wood pole with an aluminium core. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
