Description

Designed to stand up to everyday use, the Slick highchair from Babymoov revolutionises your child's comfort and mealtimes. Suitable from birth to 3 years old, the Slick highchair is perfect for every stage of your weaning process. Easy to use with an excellent choice of materials, everything is designed to ensure your child is seated comfortably and the chair is easy to handle by parents just like you! From birth, it can be used with the newborn insert as a chair or bouncer. The insert features thick memory foam that slightly lifts the baby's bottom. The backrest reclines into three positions: Resting, Playing & Feeding so your baby is perfectly positioned for whatever age or activity you need it for. Once your child can sit up unaided, simply remove the newborn insert and use the wide padded seat on the chair. Everything has been designed for the comfort of children up to the age of 3. For peace of mind, the chair benefits from a crotch post and 5-point harness, ensure your child is truly safe while the footrest is height-adjustable (3 positions) so it grows with your child for maximum comfort. The chair's height can be easily adjusted using the 2 buttons (5 positions) to ensure that baby can join the family at the dinner table or kitchen island or whatever height you need. What's more, the chair has two small casters on the back legs so that it moves from one room to another easily. In a revolutionary design, the chair tray easily opens on both sides. No need to remove it before seating your child. Press the button and swivel the tray right or left. Your child is then easily and safely seated. Once the meal is finished, simply swivel the tray to unfasten the harness which is easily accessible. To make it easier to care for the Slick high chair, the seat is made from waterproof Nanotex™ fabric for guaranteed easy cleaning. Both the seat and the newborn insert have a removable cover which is machine washable at 30°. Plus, the tray can be removed and is dishwasher-proof. Our Stylist Says

I really like the Babymoov Slick highchair in grey for its clean, modern look that seamlessly fits into both contemporary and minimalist interiors. Its sleek design and neutral colour make it versatile enough to complement a range of colour schemes and styles, from Scandi to Scandi-inspired schemes. Practical styling tips include pairing it with simple, functional furniture pieces and adding soft textiles like a colourful bib or patterned placemat to introduce a pop of colour. Its straightforward, lightweight design also makes it easy to move between rooms, making it as functional as it is stylish. Overall, a great choice for parents looking to integrate practical children's seating without compromising their interior aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
