The entire frame is made from solid pine giving the bed a strong and sturdy structure, whilst not compromising on style. The bed also features 16 wooden slats giving evenly distributed support throughout the frame, preventing your mattress from sagging and supporting up to 300kg.

I particularly like this modern grey pine bed for its clean lines, muted tone and solid build - it sits just as comfortably in a Scandi-inspired scheme as it does in a pared-back contemporary or even a soft industrial setting. The integrated drawers make it ideal for smaller rooms, so you can keep bedding or off-season clothes tucked out of sight. To style it, layer tonal linens and a textured throw in creams or muted pastels, then introduce a couple of bold accent cushions or a patterned rug to lift the neutral base. Finish with simple bedside lamps and framed prints in black or brass to balance the look.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
