A smooth blending together of natural wood and attractive black glass, the Kivu unit handsomely supports your TV, including larger models of up to 90 in size. It also offers ample storage for a wide range of AV accessories with four compartments and outer shelving space. The central glass shelf can support up to 10kg, and the lower shelf supports up to 15kg. Its enclosed rear panel with cable management features ensure a clean and clutter-free appearance, in line with its elegant aesthetic. Natural wood Cable management features keeps wires neatly out of sight Easy to assemble Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase.

Our Stylist Says

As a stylist I appreciate the Kivu stand for its crisp walnut legs paired with tinted glass shelves - it brings a smart, low-profile look perfect for contemporary, mid-century or industrial-inspired living rooms. Its open shelving and rear cable ports keep clutter out of sight, making it easy to integrate AV equipment without bulk. For practical styling, keep one shelf mostly clear to balance the dark glass, then group a neat stack of magazines or coffee-table books on another. Introduce texture with a small sculptural plant pot or a metal accessory in black or brass finish to echo the frame, and always tuck cables through the back to preserve that streamlined effect.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
