Description

In a corner or flat against a wall, AVF's slick TV stand will be a seamless addition to the living room. With its sleek half-moon shape, shiny finish and versatile storage options, this is sure to make your home entertainment system sparkle. Boosted by a ventilated metal back panel and a mounting column compatibility (sold separately), the Affinity Premium Burghley 1000 is an awesome storage option. Affinity Premium Back Panel. The metal back panel lets you attach the AVF Mounting Column (sold separately) to the back and suspend your TV above the stand. This way, you'll get more space without having to drill into the wall. Also, as this back panel is well-ventilated, your kit will keep cool and audio from the likes of sound bars can circulate freely. Sturdy Build. Made of rock-solid wood veneer and black tempered glass, this open-shelf stand will give the support your TV and AV equipment needs. The top shelf can take a maximum weight of 45kg, while the two lower shelves can take 15kg each. This way, you'll have plenty of space to store your set top boxes, DVD players and games consoles. Versatile Storage. With both open-or-closed storage and remote-friendly safety glass, you'll keep your gear out of sight and still be able to operate it. Clean Cable Management Cable management is provided through the back. This way, you won't mar this sleek and stylish look with stray cables. Please note: Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the AVF Affinity Premium Burghley as a versatile and practical option for a TV stand. Its clean lines and natural wood finish make it a good fit in contemporary, Scandi-inspired interiors, or even in more traditional settings where warmth is key. It's quite handy for maintaining an organised look with open shelving and enclosed compartments, perfect for hiding away cables, media accessories, or gaming consoles. Styling tips include adding a few decorative accents like small plants or contemporary ornaments to soften the functional edge. It works well in living rooms where a simple, uncluttered aesthetic is desired, or as a statement piece in more minimal spaces. Just ensure you position it somewhere accessible for easy cable management and viewing comfort.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
