Description

In a corner or flat against a wall, AVF's slick TV stand will be a seamless addition to living room. With its curvaceous oval shape, shiny black finish and versatile storage options, this is sure to make your home entertainment system sparkle. The Affinity Premium Buckingham 1100 is easy-to-assemble too, so you'll have it set-up in no time. Affinity Premium Back Panel. The metal back panel lets you attach the AVF Mounting Column (sold separately) to the back and suspend your TV above the stand. This way, you'll get more space without having to drill into the wall. Also, as this back panel is well-ventilated, your kit will keep cool and audio from the likes of sound bars can circulate freely. Sturdy Build Made of rock-solid wood veneer and black tempered glass, this open-shelf stand will give the support your TV and AV equipment needs. The top shelf can take a maximum weight of 55kg, while the two lower shelves can take 15kg each. This way, you'll have plenty of space to store your set top boxes, DVD players and games consoles. Versatile Storage No household's set-up is the same, so AVF have the made the central glass storage shelf adjustable to three heights. Just choose which height you'd like as you assemble it, or tinker with it as you go. Clean Cable Management There is cable management available from the back. This way, you won't mark this sleek and stylish look with stray cables. Please note: Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase. Only suitable for TVs with centre stands.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Buckingham stand for its clean, curved silhouette and smoked-glass doors - it feels right at home in Scandi, mid-century or contemporary living spaces. The oak-effect finish brings warmth, while the gloss black top ties in neatly with modern AV equipment. For practical styling, hide cables through the rear access port and keep AV boxes on the middle shelf; use the side compartments for streaming sticks or games consoles. On top, balance a low-profile TV with one or two sculptural objects - think a ceramic vase or a small plant - and layer in a stack of books or a slim art print for a lived-in but uncluttered look.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
