I’d reach for the Averill quilt whenever I want to inject a splash of personality into a neutral or pared-back scheme. The organic cotton weave keeps it feeling light and breathable, so it suits both country cottages and city apartments alike. I’d layer it over crisp white linen sheets, add a couple of solid-colour cushions in one of the deeper jewel tones from the print, then fold it back at the foot of the bed for a casual, pulled-together look.
