Our Stylist Says
I really like this pink velvet divan bed base with its 54" floor-standing headboard-it's a great way to add a soft focal point to a bedroom. Its single size makes it ideal for smaller spaces or guest rooms, and the no-drawer option gives a streamlined look which works well in contemporary interiors. The velvet fabric adds a touch of luxe without feeling overly formal, and I’d suggest styling it with neutral or pastel bedding for a calming aesthetic or layering with textured cushions and throws for added interest. It’s versatile enough to fit into modern, glam, or even minimalist schemes when paired with sleek furniture, but it also lends itself to more playful or feminine interiors due to its colour and material. Practical tip: the sturdy base provides good support and storage, so consider adding decorative baskets underneath if you want to optimise space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
