Our Stylist Says
I really like this bed base because of its sleek, contemporary look and practical storage solution. The small double size makes it ideal for bedrooms where space is at a premium, while the drawers add valuable storage without cluttering the room. The high, floor-standing headboard with its clean lines offers a modern aesthetic that pairs well with minimal or luxe interiors, especially in monochrome schemes or colour-blocked spaces. To style around it, consider soft bedding with luxe textures or patterned throws to add warmth, and complement the black base with metallic or neutral accents for a polished look. It’s a practical yet stylish choice that balances form and function effortlessly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
