Our Stylist Says
I love the Austin Tweed fabric headboard for its versatile and understated style. Its charcoal twill finish makes it a great anchor piece for both contemporary and classic interiors, adding texture without overpowering the space. This floor-standing headboard is ideal for creating a cosy yet sophisticated bedroom look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with layered bedding in soft neutrals or muted tones to keep things calm and inviting; adding an upholstered bench or accent pillows to bring in colour or pattern; and ensuring it’s positioned against a feature wall to make it a focal point. It works especially well in rooms with warm wood tones or pastel palettes, offering a neutral backdrop that can be styled easily with various colour schemes and textures.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
