At 54 tall, this floor standing headboard creates a striking focal point, offering both visual grandeur and superior back support for reading or relaxing in bed. Expertly handcrafted in the UK, the Austin combines durability with elegance, perfectly complementing both modern and classic interiors. Designed to pair seamlessly with all standard UK divan bases. Our Stylist Says
I love this headboard for its clean, contemporary look and plush velvet finish, which adds a touch of luxury without feeling overly formal. Its height makes it a great statement piece in bedrooms with high ceilings or larger spaces, and the white colour keeps it versatile, fitting well in both modern and classic interiors. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral bedding and layered textures like throws and cushions to create a cosy atmosphere. It’s also a good choice for minimalist schemes where the headboard can serve as a focal point, or in more eclectic rooms where it can be contrasted with colourful accessories. Its upholstered design means it’s comfortable to lean against, making it perfect for reading or relaxing in bed.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
