Description
The Austin Divan Bed Set in Linen Fabric combines timeless style with lasting comfort. Built with a solid platform top divan base, it offers strength, durability, and the ideal surface to enhance mattress performance. Complete with a tall 32" upholstered headboard and a 28cm deep Hybrid Midnight Orthopaedic Pocket Spring Mattress, this set delivers exceptional support. The mattress uses individually nested pocket springs that respond to your body for personalised comfort, each reacting independently to weight for tailored support, reducing partner disturbance. The 7-zone support system eases pressure on shoulders, hips, and back, and layers of luxury foams provide contouring comfort and bounce-back support. The breathable core helps regulate temperature, and the soft-touch cashmere fabric with hand tufting ensures a durable, supportive sleep surface. Finished with cushioned vertical panels, the elegant headboard makes this divan bed the perfect bedroom upgrade, base and headboard finished in Linen Fabric for a textured look. Available in all UK sizes 2FT. 6 Small Single (79x193cm), 3FT Single (92x193cm), 4FT Small Double (123x193cm), 4FT. 6 Double (137x193cm), 5FT King (153x203cm), 6FT Super King (183x203cm).
Our Stylist Says
I really like this bed base for its clean, contemporary look, especially with the linen fabric finish which adds a soft, textured feel that works well in modern or minimalist interiors. The silver coloured headboard lends a subtle hint of sophistication, making it versatile enough to blend with both neutral palettes and more muted tones. Practical styling tips include pairing it with crisp, patterned bedding to add visual interest or layering with throw cushions for a cosy touch. Its neutral fabric and straightforward design also make it an excellent choice for bedrooms aiming for a calm, uncluttered aesthetic, while the lack of drawers keeps the focus on the sleek silhouette-perfect for small spaces or where a streamlined look is desired.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
