Our Stylist Says
This black jumbo cord sofa set offers both comfort and versatility, making it a great anchor piece in a variety of interiors. The deep black hue is practical for busy households as it hides dirt and marks well, while the generous proportions of the 3-seater and 2-seater provide plenty of space for family life or entertaining. I love how the textured cord fabric adds a layer of tactile interest, giving it a modern, cosy feel. It works particularly well in contemporary or industrial spaces, but can also be softened with textured throws, colourful cushions, or layered rugs. For styling tips, keep accessories minimal and sleek to let the fabric and proportions stand out, or contrast with warm metals and natural woods for a balanced aesthetic. This sofa is about durability and comfort - a practical yet stylish choice for everyday living.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
