Hand-woven in Nariño from natural iraca leaf, a pair of scalloped vase that holds dried stems, loose botanicals, or simply the particular beauty of an object that needs nothing inside it to justify its place on the table.. The weavers of Colombia's high Andean valleys have always understood that the most considered objects are the ones that refuse a single purpose. This vase holds a stem of dried pampas as readily as it holds a clutch of garden roses, a handful of eucalyptus, or nothing at all — the scalloped rim and diamond weave doing their quiet work in style.
