More than a place to rest your feet, this At The Helm modern footstool makes a striking centrepiece in a smaller living room, especially as it easily doubles as an occasional table or coffee table. Why you'll love it Gorgeous glam style inspired by the classic Chesterfield sofa. Incredible handcrafted comfort for compact living spaces. Exceptional craftsmanship. Solid wood frame is cut and assembled by hand. Hand-cut and hand-sewn upholstery in a choice of fabric styles and colours. Hand-tufted cushioned top. Also available upholstered in a choice of leather grades and colours. Exclusive to Furniture Village. Handmade by At The Helm, master crafter of sumptuous sofas for modern living. This fabric footstool is part of our At The Helm Cartier collection. What you need to know Cushioning: foam. On glides. Some fabrics can show wear on areas of more use or in direct sunlight. Flattening and shading of heavy wear areas on pile fabrics is unavoidable. Clean regularly using a soft brush or vacuum with the curtain attachment. Deal with any spills promptly. Professional cleaning advised for oil- and grease-based stains. Please read our upholstery care guide for more advice.
I often use this moonstone footstool as a low-profile addition to both minimalist and industrial schemes - its soft grey tone and subtle tufting add texture without overpowering. It works equally well in a monochrome living room or alongside warm-wood furniture, tying in with cushions or a throw in complementary neutrals. Styling tip: pair the stool with a slim tray when you need a temporary coffee table surface, then let it serve as extra seating or a footrest when you remove it. In a snug reading corner, position it next to a leather armchair and layer a cosy wool throw over one edge to soften the look.
