Quirky and contemporary, the Astrid bed features a charming sleigh-style frame crafted from solid wood for strong, durable construction. This kids single bed is a wonderful slumber spot with its beautiful curves and harmonious design - perfect for drifting off to the land of Nod. It includes a trundle that slots neatly underneath, optimising sleeping space and offering a neat, stylish solution for sleepovers. When not in use, the trundle rolls away to keep the bedroom spacious and tidy. With matching curves, the trundle complements the sleigh beds aesthetic, making the set both pretty and practical. Our Stylist Says

The Astrid single bed with pullout trundle is a practical yet stylish choice for children’s bedrooms, offering versatility and space-saving benefits. I love how the white finish ensures it can slot seamlessly into a variety of interior styles, from Scandi-inspired minimalist schemes to more playful, colourful setups. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary interiors, but can also be softened with cosy textiles like plush throws and patterned cushions. To optimise its look, consider pairing it with neutral or pastel bedding for a calm feel, and add visual interest with wall art or playful accessories. The pullout trundle makes it a functional solution for sleepovers or growing families without cluttering the room, making it a design-led yet practical pick.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
