Description

The extraordinary Asterisk Clock was designed by George Nelson for Vitra in 1948 and boasts a whimsical aesthetic throughout its contemporary form. Crafted entirely from brass, it's complete with a high-quality quartz movement. It makes a refreshing alternative to more traditional timepieces and will enliven any décor with its striking modernity. George Nelson was an American industrial designer and is considered one of the founders of American Modernism. He is renowned for his collaborations with Vitra and created many products that are now exemplary designs in their respective genres.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Asterisk Clock for its modern yet sculptural appeal, which makes it a striking focal point in contemporary interiors. Its bold brass finish adds warmth and a touch of luxury, making it versatile across minimalist, industrial, or eclectic spaces. For styling tips, I recommend placing it on a clean, uncluttered wall to allow its distinctive design to stand out - above a sideboard or in a dining area works particularly well. Keep its surroundings simple and uncluttered to highlight the clock’s unique shape, and consider pairing it with brass or black accents for a cohesive look. It’s an eye-catching piece that blends function with high design.
