Designed by The Basket Room and handcrafted in Kenya, the medium assorted Colour Block Basket is the perfect plant pot, desk tidy, or stylish storage solution for odds and ends. Woven from sisal plant by a small collective of female weavers living near the Masinga Dam in Kenya, the basket features a striking colour block design in a variety of hues. A craft as old as mankind, basket weaving inspired Camilla and Holly to found The Basket Room and support local weavers. In supporting these communities in Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya and Swaziland, the workers benefit from fair wages, dignified working conditions and the ability to work alongside their other roles. Please note: Due to the handcrafted nature of these baskets, no two are the same. This Basket is available in an assortment of colours, one of which will be selected for you at random when ordered online. A lucky dip, if you will.
