I’m a big fan of this barley-stripe armchair for its clean lines and hard-wearing cotton cover - it feels both tailored and relaxed. The pale neutral stripes slot happily into Scandi, coastal or modern-farmhouse schemes, adding just enough pattern without overwhelming the room.
For styling, tuck in a linen or velvet cushion in a soft tone (think slate or blush) and position the chair by a side table in oak or rattan. A wool-blend throw and jute rug beneath will give a cosy reading nook or corner the right balance of texture and simplicity.
