Our Stylist Says
I really like this Richmond ottoman bed because of its practical storage solution combined with a sleek fabric finish that works well in contemporary and modern interiors. Its side lift mechanism is ideal for maximising space, making it perfect for smaller bedrooms or spaces where clever storage is a priority. Styling-wise, it pairs beautifully with minimalistic decor, giving a clean and sophisticated look, but can also work with cosy textures like throws and cushions for a more inviting feel. A good tip is to keep the bed’s fabric in neutral or muted tones to ensure it doesn't overpower the room, and add contrasting bed linens or pillows for a splash of colour. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that balances style and function effortlessly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
