Description
The Aspire Mayfair Chesterfield Sleigh Ottoman Bed Frame is designed to bring classic elegance and practical storage into the bedroom, combining traditional detailing with a bold and luxurious presence. Featuring a distinctive scroll top headboard and footboard, this statement sleigh bed takes inspiration from timeless Chesterfield styling, with deep buttoned detailing that adds texture and character to its refined silhouette. Upholstered in soft touch velvet and available in grey or black, the fabric introduces a rich and inviting finish that enhances both modern and traditional interiors. Beneath its striking exterior, the bed frame offers a spacious hidden storage compartment, ideal for keeping bedding, blankets, and everyday essentials neatly stored away. The side opening ottoman design makes it particularly well suited to rooms where access from the foot end is limited, with a lift mechanism that can be configured to open from either side for added flexibility. Gas assisted pistons allow the mattress to be raised smoothly and held securely in place, providing easy and convenient access to the storage area. A sprung slatted base offers responsive support for your mattress while promoting airflow to help maintain freshness over time. Delivered flat packed with clear assembly instructions, the Aspire Mayfair combines standout design, practical storage, and everyday comfort in one versatile piece.
Our Stylist Says
I love this bed for its classic Chesterfield design combined with its practical storage solution; it’s ideal for maximising space in a bedroom that needs both style and function. The velvet upholstery adds a touch of sophistication, making it versatile enough to work in traditional, contemporary, or eclectic interiors. When styling around it, consider keeping the bedding neutral or with subtle patterns to let the bed’s elegant detailing stand out. Adding textured cushions and throw blankets can soften the look. Practical tips include using the storage space for out-of-season clothes or extra bedding, keeping the room clutter-free while maintaining a luxurious aesthetic. Overall, it’s a smart choice for a stylish yet practical bedroom setup.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
