Our Stylist Says
This compact dining set - the Aspen table with blue diamond‐stitch chairs - is both practical and stylish. I love its slim, tapered legs and the soft corduroy upholstery, which add a subtle mid-century vibe without dominating the room. The bright blue works particularly well against neutral walls or paired with light wood floors in both city apartments and contemporary country cottages. For everyday use, keep the table clear of clutter and centre a low vase of foliage or a simple ceramic bowl to maintain that open feel. A textured jute or wool rug underneath will define the space, and you can introduce brass or black metal candle holders to echo the chair legs and add a touch of contrast.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
