Hand-crafted by our own Skilled Craftsmen in India, this range offers a new unique twist to retro style furniture, combining solid hardwood and reclaimed metal. The two tone colour adds a modern look and a warm finish.

I’m a fan of this slim brown bookcase for its space-saving proportions and the warm grain of the wood, which brings just enough texture without overwhelming a room. It works particularly well in minimalist, Scandi or industrial-style interiors, where its black metal legs can tie into other dark accents. For styling, alternate stacks of books with small decorative items - think a low vase next to a neat pile of paperbacks, a woven basket on the lower shelf for extra storage, and a trailing plant to soften the lines. Keep some shelves lightly dressed and group objects in odd numbers to maintain balance and interest.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
