Price History
Description
The simplicity of the Ashfield Single Motor Riser Recliner makes it a popular choice. Part of our Premier sofa collection, the Ashfield is beautifully upholstered in sumptuous, breathable fabric in a soft, neutral colourway with a comfy waterfall backrest. A simple, smooth single motor mechanism enables you to recline whilst taking the pressure off your feet as the footrest is raised when you press the button on the two button electric hand control. The Ashfield has a compact design and sturdy frame that makes it suitable for use in any room. Store the hand control in the convenient side pocket so it is always in reach when you need it. Full length, wide padded armrests and a lift and assist forward tilt feature, give you maximum support as you enter and exit the armchair. Available in mocha or cream.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this cream rise-and-recline chair for its clean lines and subtle textured upholstery, which slot straight into both contemporary and Scandi-inspired living rooms. The neutral tone makes it easy to pair with muted greys or dusty blues, while the single-motor lift function adds genuine comfort without bulky mechanisms on show. For styling, position it beside a slimside table topped with a minimalist lamp, then add a knitted throw draped over one arm for a touch of warmth. A low-profile rug in a complementary hue will anchor the space, and a couple of soft, patterned cushions can introduce understated colour without clashing with the chair’s gentle print.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
