Description

Outdoor security light for your porch or entryway with the Asher Outdoor Wall Light with PIR Sensor. This wall light is LED integrated, meaning that you do not need to purchase separate bulbs, and comes in a sleek stainless steel finish for a modern aesthetic. It is also IP44 rated for water resistance and features a built in PIR sensor which uses infra red technology to detect motion outside of your home, triggering the light to switch on automatically.

Our Stylist Says

I love this outdoor wall light for its sleek, contemporary design and practical PIR sensor, making it an excellent choice for modern exteriors. The stainless steel finish adds a touch of sophistication, ensuring it works well with both minimalist and industrial styles. It’s versatile enough to enhance the look of a clean-lined porch, pathway, or garden wall. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with other stainless or metallic elements for a cohesive look, or use it to highlight architectural features at night. Practical tips include placing it at a height where the sensor can easily detect movement without too many false triggers, and pairing it with complementary colour palettes like grey, black, or natural wood for a balanced, contemporary outdoor space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
